In quite the swift turn around, Peacock has already lost one of their big film franchises. Netflix will attain streaming rights for the Jurassic Park trilogy, meaning Peacock will have had the right to stream the movies for only 17 days.
Netflix made the announcement that the original trilogy will be coming to their service on August 1. The deal confirms that Netflix is still the king of the streaming services as they continue to add to their already impressive library.
It looks as though the reason Peacock had the trilogy for a small amount of time was a ploy to attain subscribers.
